Solar Car Kits for Schools
Basic Model
This basic model is all push fit and so requires NO glue to put it together.
We have taken a couple of year to develop and source the components but the end result is a model which goes fast and is strong and durable.
The kit can be reused in a class enviroment or is a great platform to buid a car, truck or van. Also the components can be used in other ways and areas.

Parts
A complete kit includes the following parts. The kit does not include a solar panel as the cost of each panel is $18 plus GST. Most schools get a small supply of panels and then a kit per student. The Kit is $7.50 plus GST

The battery pack is provided to allow the car to run without a solar panel or if the sunlight is extremly low. It would be great to give every student a panel but sometimes it is prohibitive.
Advanced Model
This advanced model includes a solar panel, two spur gears, a switch and a more powerful motor
The extra gears allow you to see the effect of gearing
